This association is subject to examination and censorship by both the government's and the Ministry of Health's controllers.

The aims of Medical Research are varied and include:
1. Mainly to aid, act and cooperate in the development of the various fields of medicine practised in HYMC, together with management and improving public health services, in subordination to the law and according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
2. 3. Use of the hospital's infrastructures and means in addition to its regular activity in order to further and expand the efficiency of the medical services provided by the hospital for those who need them. This includes verifying constant functioning of the operating theaters, the various institutes, laboratories and other hospital equipment not pertaining to the regular activities and extra workshifts.
4. Providing services, counseling and assistance for the hospital: construction, building and equipment maintenance, renewing and procurement of modern technical equipment and developing human resources.
