Description:
The Hematology Laboratory performs complete blood counts and blood coagulation tests for patients treated with Heparin and those who await operations. In addition, we perform blood hypercoagulability tests for patients with thrombo-embolic events.
Tests for immunology are also done for autoimmunity diagnosis, as are Hemoglobin-electrophoresis assay for the prognosis of genetic blood-disease tests, such as: Thalassemia and Sickle Cell anemia.
The laboratory is equipped with the most modern equipment available, and participates in external control programs NEQAS and CAP.
