Description: The Institute of Nephrology and Hypertension carries out a number of functions: 1. Nephrology and hypertension clinic for adults, including a physical check-up, diagnosis, lab and imaging tests, biopsies 2. Kidney malfunction clinic for those suffering from the terminal stage of kidney disease, who are in need of dialysis treatment 3. Hemodialysis or chronic peritoneal dialysis treatments 4. Consultation for in-patient departments in cases of kidney disease, hypertension, blood chemistry and pH disorders, pregnancy hypertension Our department has been given full recognition for internship in Nephrology by the Scientific Council of the Israeli Medical Association.
