Description:
The Institute of Pathology serves all of the hospital's departments and institutes. We perform 10,000 examinations per year, which include biopsies and surgical preparations, in addition to post-mortem dissections.
In 2006 We started our cytology service (FNA) under the supervision of Dr. Alona Meir.
We are especially interested in gastroenterological, pediatric and surgical pathology.
Prof. Groissman is also a Associate Clinical Professor and participates in the teaching of medical students in the Haifa Technion's Faculty of Medicine.
